We want to thank all of the guests who took part in the wonderful events and activities despite the wet weather conditions. Once again the egg hunts were a huge hit, especially with the search for the missing golden egg.
Jungle Island would like to congratulate James Brown, Danny Quiñones, Amanda Martin & Katelynn Tasis for finding the golden egg and winning a brand new Nintendo Wii game system. Also we would like to congratulate, Jessica Blakley for guessing the correct number of golden eggs inside of the jar. For all those who participated, the correct amount was 373. We received numerous entries but Jessica guessed the correct amount. Great Job!
The event was very successful and helped raise awareness for Easter Seals of Miami Dade, a non-profit agency dedicated to providing physical restoration, education, social and vocational opportunities to persons with physical and developmental disabilities. Jungle Island would like to thank everyone who joined us for our Spooktacular Halloween event on Oct. 27 & 28 benefiting Radio Lollipop. The event helped raise awareness for the Miami Children’s Hospital’s Radio Lollipop, an international organization founded over 25 years ago to provide care, comfort, play and entertainment for children and young people.
Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed their time and efforts to assist at the event.
